About This Event

Join Forest History Center staff on a paddling adventure exploring the natural history of the Mississippi River. We'll be on the lookout for beaver, birds, bugs, and so much more. Learn how the river has impacted our landscape and our history. Come get your feet wet and have some fun on a guided tour of our little stretch of the Mighty Mississippi. Fun for ages 10 and up. Ages 10-15 need to be accompanied by an adult.

A tandem kayak is a kayak for two people and people paddling the tandem kayaks will join the regular tour.

ONE tandem ticket includes admittance for TWO for the Mississippi Kayak experience. By purchasing a ticket you are stating that two people will be present to enjoy the tandem experience.

Tandems can accommodate 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 or 2 children. Children can be as young as 3, but a Coast Guard approved life jacket for anyone under 55 lbs must be provided.

Online tickets stop at 6 am the day-of each event. For same-day tickets, please call (218) 327-4482 to inquire about availability.
