Ramsey House Summer Tour

About This Event

Explore the legacy of the three generations of the Ramsey family and the domestic workers who lived and worked in this 11,000 square foot mansion. This unique home is filled with over 14,000 original family objects and furniture. Your guide will highlight stories both political and domestic while connecting the family and their era to today.

This summer, we're offering tours in addition to first Saturdays of the month. Join us Thursdays and Fridays from May 29 to August 29!

• Tours are 60 minutes
• First Saturday tours run at 10 am, 11 am, noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm
• Thursday/Friday summer tours run at 2:30 pm and 4 pm
• Accessibility Notes:
  • The first floor of the home is fully accessible, there are 35 stairs to access the 2nd and 3rd floor
  • There is no elevator access to the second and third floor
  • Virtual tour access will be provided for those who remain on the first floor
• Advanced reservations are required
• Please check in at the Carriage House (adjacent to the Ramsey House) before your tour
• Parking is available in the lot off Ramsey/Sherman Street
